Application Market: Lighting Control
The lighting controller is the core component of the entire lighting control system. It is responsible for connecting the upper-level control interface with the lower-level hardware control modules. After receiving the key information from the control module, the main controller converts it into a binary control command. Then, the main controller assembles the complete frame data based on the commands received via the RS485 bus from downstream modules and their associated addresses. Each bottom control module retrieves its own data based on the specified address.
Application Description: Transmit MCU signals to control lights through the RS485 bus.
The SIT3088E is a 3.0V~5.5V wide power supply RS-485 transceiver that fully complies with the TIA/EIA-485 standard. It features ESD protection capability of over 15kV HBM at the bus port, a bus voltage tolerance range of ±15V, and operates in half-duplex mode with low power consumption. The SIT3088E includes both a driver and a receiver, both of which can be independently enabled or disabled. When both are disabled, both the driver and receiver output a high-impedance state. The SIT3088E supports 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 SIT3088E transceivers to be connected on the same communication bus. It achieves error-free data transmission at speeds of up to 14Mbps. Additionally, the SIT3088E provides features such as fail-safe operation, current limiting protection, and overvoltage protection.
